Machinery and Facility Upgrades in Korpilahti
The Korpilahti factory, which has been part of Muottituote Group Oy since early 2024, has recently undergone updates to both its equipment and office spaces. Eight of the factory’s 24 injection molding machines were replaced with newer models over the past year.
Additionally, the factory floor was resurfaced, the production layout was streamlined, and several smaller improvements were made. Office spaces were completely renovated from floor to ceiling. The factory operates on a three-shift basis and employs 20 people.
“Korpilahti now has fully modern office, meeting, social, and dining spaces. We also replaced all windows and doors and installed new heat pumps. This was a significant investment with a big impact on work comfort, and based on employee feedback, the changes have been very well received,” says Tero Vanninen, CEO of Muottituote Group.
“We’ve also gained new customers in Korpilahti who were formerly served by this same factory—further expanding our portfolio.”
